Tammy J. Garrett Inducted into the Cambridge Who's Who Registry
Tammy Garrett has exhibited eight years of professional experience in the U.S. Army where she is currently a physician assistant.


ENGLEWOOD, CO, June 10, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tammy J. Garrett, Physician Assistant for the U.S. Army, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in healthcare.

Mrs. Garrett has eight years of professional experience in the Army where she prescribes medicine for active duty personnel, oversees acute and emergency care and assists in sports medicine injuries to 18 to 50-year-old individuals. In May of 2009, she will be deployed to Afghanistan. She attributes her success to her army experience. She received her Master's Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2008 and her Bachelor's of Science in 2007 from the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Mrs. Garrett became a certified physician assistant through the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and she is a member of The Society of Army Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
