Christy M. King attributes her success to her hard work


EL SOBRANTE, CA, October 2, 2009 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Christy M. King, DPM, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for demonstrating dedication, leadership and excellence in podiatry.

As a doctor of podiatric medicine, Dr. King works in a hospital and clinic, treats patients and practices surgery for foot and ankle trauma. She was initially interested in sports medicine, but her friend's father was a podiatrist and suggested she pursue the podiatric field. She attributes her success to her hard work, education, and family and role models' support.

Dr. King is currently completing her residency, and she obtained her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from California School of Podiatric Medicine in 2009. She is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons. In the future, she would like to work in a hospital and treat patients in a clinic.
